Accessibility statement

Last reviewed 1 October 2026

Our commitment

We want everyone who visits this site to be able to read it, find their way around it and contact us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement applies to every page on this demonstration website.

Conformance status

This website has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Every page passes the automated checks described below. Because we have not yet completed testing with screen readers, we describe the site as partially conformant until that testing is done; we will update this statement when it is.

What you can expect

  • Text and interface colours meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, and large text and interface components at least 3:1.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clear focus outline on every link, button and form field.
  • Each page has one main heading, a logical heading order, landmarks and a link to skip to the main content.
  • Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Layouts work on screens from 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways, and text can be enlarged to 200%.
  • Carousels never move on their own, and the site respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Tabs, carousels, accordions and menus work without JavaScript.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and hints are linked to their fields.

How we tested

Every page is checked with automated tools: the HTML is validated, and each page is tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA with an automated accessibility checker. We also test by hand with a keyboard in Google Chrome, and review every page at desktop and mobile widths.

Known limitations

  • Screen-reader testing has not yet been completed.
  • The site search needs JavaScript. Without it, the search page lists every page on the site instead.
  • The forms on this demonstration site do not send messages.

Reporting a problem

If you have difficulty using any part of this site, or need information in a different format, email hello@halveron.junaid.guru with "Accessibility" in the subject line, or call +44 (0)1632 960410. Tell us the page address and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five working days.

Enforcement

If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
